Whether looking for a weekend getaway, or a stopover on a North to South Vietnam tour, our Hoi An Beach Break Vietnam tour offers a blend of culture and relaxation at a fabulous price. Easily accessible from Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, we offer three nights on quiet Cua Dai beach where you a free to explore the old-world trading port of Hoi An, ancient ruins of My Son or simply soak in the sun.
The central coast of Vietnam is a destination with two faces - the charming, old-world trading port of Hoi An with its narrow streets and traditional houses, and it’s long beach stretching from Danang to Hoi An. In keeping with Hoi An's heritage as a trading port, the town's tiny shophouses now host a range of craft shops and artisans, including some of Asia's best bespoke tailors.
Access: Situated in the centre of the country’s coastline, Danang, which is the gateway to Hoi An (30-minute drive), is reachable by a 75 minute flight from both Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi and internationally from regional hubs. Overnight trains operate from both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, however only the Hanoi service has decent levels of service and comfort as of now.
Optional activities in the area: Just south of Hoi An is the temple complex at My Son. These tower-temples served as the seat of the Champa Kingdom for the majority of its existence between the 4th and 13th centuries. In Hue to the north of Hoi An, the mesmerizing tombs and mausoleums of the last emperors of Vietnam reveal fascinating insights into the lives of the imperial families and their subjects.
